Five of Poe's stories, staged live in a single evening. 'The Tell-Tale Heart,' a confession from a man who hears too much. 'The System of Doctor Tarr and Professor Fether,' a dinner at an asylum where the hosts are not who they say. 'The Cask of Amontillado,' a wrong avenged one brick at a time. 'The Fall of the House of Usher,' a house that will not outlive its family. And 'The Raven,' Poe's own words, unabridged, to close.
Part reading, part staged drama, entirely Poe. Eighty minutes with no intermission. Adapted and directed by Jack and Robyn Krause. In partnership with OpenStage Theatre.
